The Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering offers an undergraduate minor and a secondary field of study in Operations Research. Undergraduate students in the School of Engineering and Applied Science with majors other than Systems Engineering may graduate with a minor in Operations Research in addition to their major. Four courses are required for the minor: EMSE 101, 102, 154 or 173, and a fourth course selected from EMSE 135, 154, 171, 173 and 182. Depending on the student's major, additional credit hours beyond the minimum required for the major may be necessary in order to complete the minor in Operations Research.
